Event Review: WALA Social Meeting 27 September 2012

We had our social meeting at the Bluewater Bar & Grill on the evening of the 27th of September and it was a great evening.
Whilst the group enjoyed excellent food and arguably the best views of the CBD, north across the River Swan, Jelena Nikolic delivered a very informative talk on the subject of legal professional privilege. This provoked some great interactive discussion amongst the forty strong audience, amongst which there seemed to be some battle hardened veterans of legal dispute. It was fantastic to witness such interesting debate, in such an intimate, close quarters environment.
What was even better to witness was the way the group stayed to enjoy great conversation and food in this beautiful setting, as the lights of the CBD sparkled in the background.
We’ll definitely have another one of these!
So, please watch this space, as we plan to hold another event early next year, when we hope to secure John Fisher, who will present to us on the subject of adjudication.
