Have your say – Infrastructure UK (IUK) North West Consultation Event - 7 March

Date:

1 MARCH 2013

The Government’s 'Infrastructure Procurement Routemap: a guide to improving the delivery capability' sets out best practice advice to help businesses improve their ability to deliver projects and programmes.

Alongside this, the Government is also publishing a draft application guide, for consultation, to develop a 'toolkit' which will help infrastructure providers to improve their capability to deliver successful project outcomes.  The consultation for this formally ends on 22nd April 2013.

The IUK NW consultation event is your opportunity to engage with the authors and input your views on the developing policies and guidelines.

Speakers include Alan Couzens, Project Director, Infrastructure UK (HM Treasury) & Author of the Infrastructure Implementation Plan; Simon Kirby, Managing Director, Infrastructure Projects at Network Rail & Chair of the Infrastructure UK Client and Lean Procurement Task Group and Steve Hudson, Senior Commercial Advisor, Infrastructure UK. The event will be chaired by Peter McDermott, Professor of Construction Procurement at the University of Salford.

The event takes place on Thursday 7 March, 16.00 -18.30 in central Manchester. It is free to attend but places are limited and booking is essential. Contact Hannah Kavanagh on enquiries@ccinw.com or telephone 0161 295 5076.
