While painters exhibit their creativities on canvas, our civil engineers contribute their painstaking efforts and imagination to create a stunning landscape of our city, Hong Kong.
To celebrate the tremendous efforts from our Civil Engineers, ICE HKA 2013 Photography Competition with the theme “The art of Concrete” for all Hong Kong members is now open for entries.
ICE HKA Photography Competition with the theme “The Art of Concrete” is now open for entries for all Hong Kong members. All the images entered will be required to show a Hong Kong Engineering Project using Concrete or part thereof as its main theme and will be judged according to two categories:
- Most Artistic Civil Engineering Image and,
- Most Epic/Monumental Civil Engineering Image
The competition has been divided into 2 groups:
- Open Group and,
- University Group
Regarding the Open Group, 3 winners will be selected from each category. The Champion Prize will be HK $2,000 and 2 Award of Merit will be HK $500. With regard to the University Group, 1 winner will be selected from each category. The Champion Prize will be HK $500.

Entries can be made in digital format or prints from film and/or digital files. Please send to the ICE Hong Kong Office by post or by hand or emailed to icehkaphoto@gmail.com to arrive before the closing time for the competition. Any entries received after the closing time will not be accepted.
