ICE London announce new Ambassador of the Year Award

ICE London is launching an award to recognise and promote the vital work that our members deliver as volunteer ambassadors in London schools.

The Ambassador of the Year Award is open to all ICE members of any grade.

Eligibility

The award will be given for activities undertaken in London schools and colleges during the academic year from September 2011 to July 2012.
The award winner will be presented with a certificate of achievement and trophy at the ICE London Annual General Meeting on 17 October 2012.  The winner will also be featured on the ICE website and in e-news  articles.

Selection criteria

  • Demonstrable commitment to promoting the civil engineering profession through the work undertaken with schools 
  • High quality of the events/activities organised by the ambassador and positive impact of these events for the students, teachers and parents
  • Potential for the activity to be used by other engineering ambassadors
