Nuclear Energy Developments Seminar to be held at The Marriott City Centre Hotel, Bristol on Monday 28 March 2011.
ICE South West will be holding a Nuclear Energy Developments Seminar in Bristol on Monday 28 March 2011.
This seminar brings together a number of speakers from across government and the nuclear energy sector who can give an authoritative overview of the national and regional nuclear scenes. A speaker from the Department of Energy and Climate Change will be attending this seminar to provide any government updates.
The seminar will be of interest to engineers wishing to gain an up to date picture of nuclear developments. Space will be available for poster displays, and the programme will include time for networking. The SW ICE is considering establishing a Special Interest Group on nuclear energy as a follow on to this seminar.
Speakers to include - Professor Colin Taylor (University of Bristol), Keith Waller (DECC), Alyn Jones (Somerset County Council), Professor Malcolm Joyce (University of Lancaster), Professor Willy Aspinall (University of Bristol), Dr Manus O'Dinnell (EdF Energy) and Professor David Smith (Bristol-Oxford Nuclear Energy Research Centre).
