ICE South West Communications Competition
Environment Agency Victorious in Regional Round
The 17 February saw graduates from the Environment Agency compete against graduates from Devon County Council in the South West's regional round of the Communications Competition.
Both teams chose very different scenarios to focus on, with EA undertaking a restoration project consultation and DCC opting for a habour redevelopment consultation. Each team was in fine form and worked hard to stand up to heckling from the 'locals'. Both teams did remarkably well all-round and all who took part impressed the judges. At the end of the evening, the EA team were declared the winners and will go forward to the semi-finals in April.
Congratulations to our winning team, namely Dan Heath, Alexei Bond, Patrick Hall and Peter Andrews; we wish them well for the next round of the competition. Our thanks to both teams and to ICE Exeter and our judges for making the competition possible.
