Regional Final of Create Sport to be held on 5 May at At-Bristol

Schools across the South West are enthusiastically working on their Create Sport submissions ahead of the Easter deadline.

Create Sport, a FREE national competition encouraging 12/13 year old students to work in teams with a built environment professional to complete a challenging project, introduces real-world problems to the classroom and is one of ICE President Peter Hansford's key initiatives.

We currently have 7 schools taking part, from Cornwall right up to Gloucestershire! All will be invited to the South West regional final on 5 May, which is kindly supported by At-Bristol, Two Seasons and Science Learning Centre South West. We have a variety of prizes to give away, including branded school bags for wining/second placed students (courtesy of Two Seasons) and cameras for the winning and second-placed schools (courtesy of Bristol University).

If your school is taking part or you ar einterested to find out more, the flyer for our South West Create Sport regional final can be downloaded here. For more details of the competition, please visit http://www.ice.org.uk/nearyou/UK-Regions/South-West/Create-Sport-Challenge
