ICE South West to hold Health & Safety Seminar for Graduates
Half Day seminar to be held in Exeter on Friday 23 November 2012.
On Friday 23 November 2012, ICE South West will be holding a 'Health & Safety, Principles & Practice' half day seminar at the Mercure Southgate Hotel, Exeter 12:30 - 17:00.
Health and Safety at Work legislation was set up to reduce the number of injuries and accidents occurring in the workplace. The Civil Engineer has a vital role in promoting health, safety and welfare in construction projects and supporting the professional development of others.
This seminar is aimed at graduate engineers and technicians to help them develop their underpinning knowledge. It covers important principles of Health and Safety and their practical application in design and construction. The content will help towards Development Objectives B2 and B3 and directly relates to
Development Objective E2: Manage and apply safe systems of work.
