ICE West Indies Local Association holds first live streamed seminar

The ICE West Indies Local Association have held their 2nd Seminar for 2012 entitled "Dispute Resolution Strategies in Construction Projects in the West Indies" at the Marriott Courtyard Hotel in Port-of-Spain, Trinidad and Tobago.

The Seminar, which was held on March 8th, 2012, was well attended with forty persons attending in-house and fifteen persons attending online via the Livestream application. It was a historical moment for the Association as this was the first time a Seminar was streamed live on the internet. Viewers from Barbados and as far as Egypt were able to access the live content thus resulting in international exposure for the Association. The seminar topic, which is hotly debated in Trinidad and Tobago within recent years, featured topics on dispute resolution, types of law, arbitration, construction claims, contract types and mediation. The Seminar was very interactive and participants expressed their satisfaction with the presentation style of the keynote speaker, Mr. Robert Cedeno. The Association would like to sincerely thank Mr. Robert Cedeno for volunteering his time to deliver a high energy and high impact presentation.
