ICE Yorkshire and Humber Awards 2013 - deadline extended

Date:

17 OCTOBER 2012

Nominations for our 2013 Awards are now open - deadline extended.

We very much wish to recognise excellent work done by civil engineers in the Yorkshire and Humber region. There are two main Awards:

  • The Centenary Award, which recognises a civil engineering project of excellence constructed in the region and completed within the past two years
  • The Smeaton Award, which recognises excellent work done by civil engineers based in the region that has not led to a physical construction in the region (this could have been work on a project outside the region or it could have been research work, a feasibility study, an unconstructed design, etc)

We have made the nomination process simpler this year by using an online submission, and presentations (in November/December) by shortlisted entrants.

Due to requests from a number of organisations we have agreed to extend the deadline for submissions by two weeks to 23.59 on Tuesday 30 October 2012.

Don’t be modest about your achievements! For these Awards, you can’t leave it to others to put your name forward. Contact iceyandh@ice.org.uk for further information or support in completing your submission.
