ICE London is proud to partner with Open House London for the second year to showcase the vital role of civil engineers in building, maintaining and transforming the capital’s infrastructure and built environment.
ICE is organising a series of walks, tours and boat trips to celebrate and explore innovative engineering of the past, present and future. Weekend highlights include tours of One Great George Street, aerial tours on the Emirates Air Line cable car, a Thames Clipper boat tour to the Hoo Peninsula, a walk exploring the changing face of the tidal Thames with the Thames Estuary Partnership, Olympic legacy boat tours of the Lower Lea with the London Legacy Development Corporation and site visits to a number of ICE London Civil Engineering Award-winning projects.
