ICE invests £45k in technician students
Over £45k has been awarded by ICE to gifted engineering technician students to support them in their studies.
38 students have been awarded up to £1,500 in the latest round of the QUEST Technician Scholarship scheme. The scholarship offers financial assistance to students showing excellence in their studies and a commitment to civil engineering. All these students are studying for a qualification that could lead to their becoming professional qualified engineering technicians.
A total of 99 students applied for the scholarship this year, with shortlisted applicants attending interviews throughout the UK conducted by ICE regional support teams. Now in its third year, the scheme is currently supporting over 50 students, including previous recipients who are still studying.
More information on the scholarship and other QUEST awards can be found on the ICE website.
