ICE launches first ICE Committee for West Indies
ICE is pleased to announce the launch of the first ICE Committee for the West Indies region: the ICE West Indies Local Association.
The ICE West Indies Local Association is committed to promoting the activities of ICE in the West Indies by building a strong network to sustain the exchange of ideas and knowledge among civil engineers, graduates, technicians, associates and students in the region. The Local Association is dedicated to encouraging and supporting its members to become professionally qualified and thus increase their contribution not only to the region but to the world. The Local Association has been ratified by the International Policy Committee in July 2010 with an official launch to follow soon.
The Committee is based in Trinidad and Tobago and is being led by:
- Chairman - Professor T.M. Lewis
- Honorary Secretary/Membership Officer - Don Samuel
- Honorary Treasurer - Naeem Hasnain
- Graduate and Student Officer - Leighton Ellis
