As ICE’s trustee body, Council is responsible for setting the Institution’s high-level strategy. This is central to meeting the challenges of growing membership in uncertain economic times and maintaining our leading voice on the importance of civil engineers around the world.

Vacancies
This year we’re looking for the following Council members:
- Six general members
- Five regional members in the UK
- One international member in Europe
- Two Graduate members

Terms of service
Each new Council member serves for three years from 5 November 2013 (except one of the two Graduate member vacancies which runs for two years). Council meets four times a year, usually at One Great George Street, London.

Please fill in the nomination form and email it to council@ice.org.uk by 31 March 2013.
All candidates will need five sponsors who must be full paying ICE members and can only sponsor one candidate.
