McNulty Rail Value for Money Study unveiled to West Midlands Leaders

An audience of invited guests at an ICE West Midlands event on 11th April, heard Sir Roy McNulty outline the proposals of his wide-ranging Rail Value for Money Study, which is due to be published shortly.

Sir Roy, who is Chairman of the DfT/ORR's Rail Value for Money Study, gave a 40 minute presentation to an audience of invited guests at a breakfast meeting in ICE West Midlands' Faraday Wharf offices at Birmingham Science Park Aston.

He outlined the findings of this year-long study which makes recommendations on what needs to be done and how it should be implemented and provides 'a vision for the future of GB rail.'

The study will be completed by Easter and published during May.
