Presidential Tour to the Middle East: Jordan
ICE President Richard Coackley visited Jordan in October as part of his Presidential tour to the Middle East region where he also attended the ICE’s 3rd MEA Convention in Dubai.
On Oct 21, ICE President Richard Coackley and Director of Membership David Lloyd-Roach marked the first ever visit to Jordan by a residing ICE President and a high ranking member of the ICE staff. The ICE visitors called on the British Ambassador, the President of the Jordan Engineers Association (JEA) and the Jordan University Faculty of Engineering, explaining ICE’s international role in the development of the civil engineering profession and exploring avenues of furthering cooperation with local professional and academic institutions.
