Roy Severn Memorial - Friday 01 March 2013
The Department of Civil Engineering at the University of Bristol is holding a Memorial and Celebration of the life of the late Professor Roy Severn on 1 March 2013, from 12:00 to 15:30, at Queen's Building, University Walk, Bristol BS8 1TR.
The event is open to all who knew Roy.
The event will start with an informal gathering, with light refreshments and buffet, at 12:00, followed by a formal gathering in the Pugsley Lecture Theatre from 13:00-14:00.
From 14:00 until 15:30 there will be tours of the Bristol Laboratories for Advanced Dynamics Engineering (BLADE), including the earthquake shaking table laboratory, and opportunity for further informal gatherings over light refreshments.
Attendance is free, but to help us assess numbers, we should be grateful if you could register for the event, indicating whether or not you plan to attend the buffet.
