An engineer from Reigate in Surrey has qualified to become a Fellow of the Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE).

Mr Dominic Molyneux was awarded his fellowship in the latest list issued by ICE. He is a Technical Director and Head of Dams, Hydro and Hydraulics for global engineering, consulting and construction company Black & Veatch in Redhill, Surrey.

Regional Director, John Laverty, said: “ICE South East England welcomes Mr Molyneux who joins the 430 existing working ICE Fellows based in South East England and we look forward to working with him for the benefit of civil engineering in the Region.

“Fellow is the highest grade of membership of the Institution and is for senior civil engineers who have made a significant contribution to the civil engineering profession or have advanced the practice of engineering. Fellows can use the post nominal letters FICE.”

Mr Molyneux said: “I joined ICE as a graduate member in February 1988 and completed the professional qualifications necessary to become a Member of ICE. To be awarded the status of Fellow is a great honour which recognises my work as a Civil Engineer.

“ICE membership has benefitted me throughout my career and has also brought benefits to my employers as they know that the criteria for ICE membership are extremely high and rigorously monitored.

“I look forward to working with ICE in Surrey to promote the work of Civil Engineers.”
