Transport for London Design Review - call for panel members

Date:

6 JULY 2010

Transport for London (TfL) is working with RIBA London to set up a design review panel that will take a dedicated look at Street Scene schemes funded by TfL. They are seeking to establish a genuine mix of architects, planners, landscape designers and traffic engineers to review London borough schemes with a value of £2million and above. The London boroughs promoting the schemes will be obliged to use the panels as part of a step process in order to satisfy requirements for further funding.

TfL is seeking approximately 20-30 people to join panels of 8-10 people.  The positions will be paid and the programme will begin in September 2010 and run for two years. In addition to these positions, they are also seeking paid mentors.

All applicants are asked to supply a CV and a 200 word piece explaining why they are suitable and return to RIBA London by 5 pm on 16 July 2010. TfL will make the final decision on successful candidates and contact them directly. For more information email Mike.Althorp@inst.riba.org or visit www.architecture.com/ribalondon.

CVs and statement should be posted to the address below, to arrive by 5 pm on 16 July 2010:
