Manchester transport schemes vital to regional economy

Essex Branch plays host to a mini presentation evening

Last night (12th January) saw the Essex Branch host a series of five short presentations from seven speakers.   In a break from the more conventional evening meeting  and inspired by the PechaKucha approach to sharing knowledge, each speaker was given 6 minutes and 40 seconds along with 20 slides to talk about a particular project or idea.

North East motoring transformed ahead of schedule with two Tyne Tunnels

International Conference on the Sustainable Development of Transport Systems

More than 160 participants from Nepal, India, Bangladesh, Australia, USA, UK and Canada participated in an international conference on the Sustainable Development of Transport Systems recently in Nepal. It was organised by the Nepal Engineering College (nec) in collaboration with the Nepal Ministry of Physical Planning and Works (MOPPW), the Nepal Ministry of Local Development (MOLD), the Nepal Ministry of Environment (MOE), the Nepal Engineers’ Association (NEA) and the Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE).
