An ICE President returns to Sweden after almost 200 years

To build on the success of the April site visit to the Blanka Tunnel in Prague, the ICE Czech Republic organized a site visit to the new motorway bridge across the Lochkov Valley in Prague.

Bátaapáti Radioactive Waste Repository, Hungary

Upon completion, the Bátaapáti underground repository complex will provide safe storage for approximately 70000 m3 of low and medium-level radioactive waste from the Nuclear Power Generating Station of Paks.

This year’s East of England Annual Conference, was held last week at the Imperial War Museum, Duxford.  The conference asked the question “Is Low Carbon Sustainable Development Possible” and concluded that – given a collective will – it is.
