It is with much regret that ICE Wales Cymru has to bring to your attention that George Gibby, one time Chief Engineer to Cwmbran New Town passed away in the early hours of Saturday 10 July after a short stay in hospital.

Transport for London (TfL) is working with RIBA London to set up a design review panel that will take a dedicated look at Street Scene schemes funded by TfL. They are seeking to establish a genuine mix of architects, planners, landscape designers and traffic engineers to review London borough schemes with a value of £2million and above. The London boroughs promoting the schemes will be obliged to use the panels as part of a step process in order to satisfy requirements for further funding.
