Engineering experts have urged the Government to rethink its plans for UK aviation and airport infrastructure development, including its decision to ban new runways at the country’s busiest airports.

Transport for London Design Review - call for panel members

6 JULY 2010

Transport for London (TfL) is working with RIBA London to set up a design review panel that will take a dedicated look at Street Scene schemes funded by TfL. They are seeking to establish a genuine mix of architects, planners, landscape designers and traffic engineers to review London borough schemes with a value of £2million and above. The London boroughs promoting the schemes will be obliged to use the panels as part of a step process in order to satisfy requirements for further funding.
