ICE commends ODA on Olympic site delivery
Commenting on the sucessful delivery of the Olympics site infrastructure Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE) Director General Tom Foulkes said:
"The 2012 Olympics is an opportunity to showcase the UK in many ways, not least its ability to deliver complex infrastructure projects on budget and ahead of schedule. If we are to successfully deliver the next generation of low carbon infrastructure, demonstrating this to potential investors is crucial.
"Credit must be given to John Armitt and the whole team at the ODA, as well as the wider infrastructure industry, for its outstanding performance in delivering a world-class Olympics site on time and on budget."
