ICE responds to OfGem review

Date:

20 MAY 2011

Responding to the initial conclusions of the OfGem review, Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE) director general Tom Foulkes said:

“We welcome the recommendations that Ofgem’s role takes into consideration longer-term environmental goals alongside short-term market regulation. ICE has for some time called for the regulatory framework to better reflect today’s environmental and societal challenges if we are to have a fit for purpose energy network in the future.”
