This scholarship provides financial support of £1,500 for civil engineering students in further or higher education.
The QUEST Technician Scholarship helps students who are getting hands-on technical and practical engineering experience whilst doing a course which could lead to professional qualification as an Engineering Technician. It is available to full and part time students and those studying on release from an employer.
Am I eligible?
- You must be an ICE Student or Graduate member
- You must not have already received a QUEST Technician Scholarship
- You must be enrolled on your course before applying for the scholarship
- Your course must meet the educational benchmark for ICE Technician Membership. To find out if your course is an ‘approved scheme’ visit the Joint Board of Moderators (JBM) website
Typically, the following qualifications in civil engineering meet the criteria for the scholarship:
- National Certificates or Diplomas
- Edexcel BTEC Level 3 Diploma in Construction and the Built Environment
- Edexcel BTEC Level 3 Diploma in Construction and the Built Environment (Civil Engineering)
- Edexcel BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma in Construction and the Built Environment
- Edexcel BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma in Construction and the Built Environment (Civil Engineering)
- Higher National Certificates or Diplomas
- Foundation Degrees
