ICE has a number of awards which recognises the outstanding achievements of individuals at various stages of membership.
The annual Student Prize is open to all current student members of ICE and is awarded to the ICE student who is judged to have performed the best by their course leader in the last two years of their JBM accredited civil engineering degree course.
The Graduate & Student paper competition promotes and rewards excellence in the communication of civil engineering ideas and research.
The Balfour Beatty sponsored award for best Civil Engineering student is one of the awards offered at the SET awards ceremony. The projects submitted by the students represent the best research and analysis currently undertaken in universities, and many genuine scientific advances have been made by the competitors.
CEMYA recognises and celebrates individuals who have demonstrated excellence and best practice in civil engineering management.
The Mentor of the Year Award recognises the worthy contribution made by those who encourage the development of young civil engineers and support them to meet their professional goals.
The ICE Communications Competition offers young civil engineers the opportunity to develop their communications skills in role play public consultation scenarios based around mock engineering scheme proposals and compete for the top prize of £500 cash.
