Am I eligible?
Entry is free and is open to any civil engineering manager who can show how their management performance has made a difference. Applicants do not have be members of ICE.

Why enter?
The award promotes excellence in civil engineering management by
- recognising civil engineers who have demonstrated the highest level of management excellence
- providing a platform for civil engineers to demonstrate their management achievements
- inspiring civil engineers to achieve the highest standards of management excellence

How to apply
There are six entry categories recognising that management excellence can be demonstrated in a variety of roles cross a wide range of civil engineering projects.
To find out more about the six entry categories please read the entry form ICE 3091a.
To enter the competition, you need to complete and return:
i) the attached entry form ICE 3091a
ii) provide two statements of support, on form ICE 3091b. These may be completed by line managers, HR managers or individuals who have worked on the project

Prizes
Each category winner receives a certificate with the overall winner receiving the Institution Medal for the Civil Engineering Manager of the Year.

Q. If my line of work does not fit any of the entry categories what should I do?
A. If you feel your entry does not fit any of these descriptions, please contact the ICE Awards Executive at awards@ice.org.uk for advice.
Q. What if I can’t fulfil all the criteria for a category?
A. If you believe that any of the criteria do not apply to your entry, you need only to provide a statement indicating why.
