ICE Student Prize

ICE awards an annual Student Prize of £250 to the student who is judged to have performed the best in the last two years of their JBM accredited civil engineering degree course. _____________________________________________________

Award Criteria

The criteria for being awarded the prize are:

  • talent in engineering design
  • impressive coursework
  • a strong examination performance

Am I eligible?

To be in with a chance of being awarded the ICE Student Prize you need to be a current ICE Student member and studying a JBM accredited civil engineering degree program.

Prizes

Each student prize-winner wins a cash prize of £250 and will receive an ICE Certificate of Merit.

This is awarded on the recommendation of your course leaders, or appropriate staff member, in consultation with the Head of Civil Engineering.  If you have been recommended you will be notified by the ICE Awards and Registers Executive.

You will be awarded your Student Prize and Certificate of Merit at your graduation ceremony or, if preferred, at a Regional awards ceremony.
