The ICE QUEST G Haider Scholarship provides funding for civil engineering students at the University of Engineering and Technology, Lahore, Pakistan.
The scholarship was set up as a result of the initiative and generous financial support of Mr Ghulam Haider. It has been running since 2003 and is administered and supported by QUEST.
The scholarship is worth 4,000 Pak Rupees per month per scholar, for the duration of their university degree course.
Am I eligible?
You must be a studying civil engineering at the University of Engineering and Technology (UET) in Lahore, Pakistan. Scholarships are awarded to two students who excel in civil engineering and are in financial hardship.
What is the selection process?
Interviews and initial short listing of applicants are undertaken by the selection committee in Lahore, which is comprised of university staff and the ICE country representative. Final selection of new scholars is made by the QUEST Committee and Mr Ghulam Haider.
