Welcome to the Academic Assessment online application page. Before beginning your application it is important that you take some time to review the guidance below to ensure your application is completed correctly and that all required information and documents are included.
Supporting Documents
You should ensure that you have prepared all your supporting documents prior to starting your online application in the correct format as listed in the table below. The system will only allow you to attach one file per qualification.

NOTE: If any of the documents are not in English, they must be accompanied by an English translation and certified by an official translator, senior member of your employing company or a Corporate ICE Member.

**Please note if it was not a requirement for you to complete a final year project or dissertation for your programme of study, you are not required to provide this document. It is helpful if you note this in the comments box available on the “Upload your documents” section of the application.
***Please note that only some PhD/EngD programmes will have a taught component. If your PhD/EngD programme did not have a taught component then you will not be required to submit an official transcript.

Important information on certifying your qualifications
It is a requirement of the Academic Assessment process that you submit a certified copy of the certificate for each academic qualification you hold. For guidance on what you must do to have your certificate(s) certified please see here.
Please see here for an example of acceptable supporting documents for a Bachelor degree.
In Progress or Proposed Programmes of Study
If you are currently studying, or intending to study, a programme at a college or university and would like it to be considered in your assessment, you should include it in your application. The Panel will assess the programme(s), provide recommendations, and advise on the suitability of such programmes for future membership. You may submit up to three proposed programmes.
If this applies to you, the following information for the postgraduate programme(s) must be included in your application:

Fees
Existing Graduate members
- An application fee of £40 must be submitted with your application.
Non-members
- An application fee of £98 must be submitted with your application. This fee includes a non refundable payment towards your Graduate membership annual subscription fee.
- On admission as a Graduate member you must pay the remainder of the Graduate membership annual subscription fee (£117 for UK residents and £73 for non-UK residents).
- If you are eligible for a concessionary rate or a Technician Graduate membership rate for the current subscription year there will not be an additional fee to pay.
Application Closing Dates
Please be sure to submit your fully completed application by the relevant closing date. Incomplete applications received on the closing date will not be processed. As a result these applications will not be submitted to the Academic Qualifications Panel for assessment at the next relevant meeting. You will be notified by a member of the Education and Learning team if you are required to submit any further information.
