Addressing the Health, Safety and Environmental Aspects on the Thames Tideway Tunnel project, St Albans

About this event

Tideway are striving to achieve transformational health and safety performance, exceeding that of all previous major infrastructure projects and leaving a lasting legacy to the industry that ensures the progress made on the project is adopted and continued.

Whilst it is clear that the construction of the Thames Tideway Tunnel is an environmental project as the key purpose of the asset is to prevent untreated sewage discharging, the project has committed to some challenging legacy targets on environment, skills and employment and sustainability that will leave a lasting legacy to the communities that we work in.

Tideway will share the approach they as the Client organisation are taking to achieve these ambitious aspirations.

The talk will be presented by Chris Kitley, Land Quality and Groundwater Manager Tideway and Steve Crofts, Head of Health, Safety and Wellbeing at Tideway.
