| ICE Approved Training Schemes consist of a structured training programme developed in conjunction with the trainee's employer. Schemes provide a framework to help a trainee achieve the necessary competence to qualify as a professional engineer. A key element of a scheme is the company support through a mentor/Supervising Civil Engineer (SCE). They provide valuable guidance and assistance in developing an individual's training and experience.
