Concessionary Rate ICE Subscriptions

Members who become unable to afford the full membership subscription may be eligible for the Concession rate, which includes full entitlement to journals. This concessionary rate is available to those whose income is £11,000 or less per annum (if you are an overseas member, please check the currency converter to see if you qualify for the concessionary rate), and may be suitable for members who are on career breaks or maternity leave, and those who have been made redundant or are undertaking voluntary work.

The yearly concessionary subscription rate is £55 for members residing both within and outside the EU.

The application process is simple. On-line payments can be made via MyICE and application forms can be downloaded. The form should be posted to Subscriptions Department, ICE, One Great George Street, London SW1P 3AA.

The Concession rate must be applied for yearly because it is intended to cover temporary changes in circumstances. Members who are experiencing longer term changes may be eligible for assistance from The Benevolent Fund of the Institution of Civil Engineers. More details are available at bfice.org.uk

Retired Rate ICE Subscriptions

ICE members are entitled to a retired rate of subscription if they are aged 60 or over as of 1st January 2009, have retired from full time employment on that date and are earning no more than £11,000 per annum from any employment (if you are an overseas member, please check the currency converter to see if you qualify for the concessionary rate).

The yearly retired member subscription rate is £55 for members residing both within and outside the EU.
