This section includes dates of ICE Professional Reviews, as well as key dates for the Fellowship, Exemption and Recognition and Academic Qualification panels.
Spring 2010 UK Professional Reviews
If you require a Career Appraisal, they are processed in batches in the middle of every month. As it takes around 8 weeks to obtain an answer you should ensure that you leave sufficient time between the receipt of your result and your application for a Review to act upon any advice given. Your Lead Sponsor at Review has to certify that you have made every effort to do that, so timing is very important.
Please make sure that prior to the opening date for applications you have had your ICE 2144/3144 Completion Certificate or Hong Kong Scheme A Training Scheme (Civil Discipline) signed off by your RST. Alternatively, that you have received the formal result of your Career Appraisal advising you to proceed to Review.

2010 & 2011 International Professional Reviews
Professional Reviews can also be arranged in selected other centres around the world (see table below), depending on candidate numbers. In the smaller centres where there may be limited capacity, priority will be given to local candidates. If for any reason we are unable to accommodate a Professional Review in your preferred centre, you will be offered a Professional Review in another centre.
If you would like to attend your Review in a location other than those listed, please state this as an alternative on your application form. Your request will be considered but cannot be guaranteed.
Please note that Technical Report Reviews cannot be taken in all centres outside the UK. Please contact profrev@ice.org.uk to confirm available locations before submitting your application.

1. An Academic Assessment will be required to confirm your Educational Base if you do not hold the requisite qualifications accredited by ICE. Please see MGN4 for further information.

2. Please see MGN11 for further information. You should submit your career appraisal application as soon as you are ready and not wait for the latest date published here. On average it takes at least 8 weeks from the submission date to receipt of result. Please note that this result may require you to provide further evidence for assessment or to undertake additional work, which can take weeks or longer, and you should factor this in to your planning.
3. Sri Lankan candidates are advised to submit their applications in line with these dates.

Please note that applications made via the European Directive route are assessed by the Exemption & Recognition Panel, but assessments are completed on a case by case basis. Applications can be submitted at any time and are not restricted by the above dates.
As required by Directive 2005/36/EC, you will receive a decision on your application within 4 months of confirmation of receipt of the necessary documentation.
