The Law and Contract Procedure Exam

The aim of ICE's Civil Engineering Law and Contract Procedure Examination is to promote a better understanding of civil engineering contract conditions, the legal framework within which they operate and the administrative procedures necessary for the successful completion of projects. It is a requirement to have passed papers 1 and 3 if you wish to join the ICE Register of Adjudicators

Arbitrator's Endorsement Examination

Candidates will normally have passed ICE's examination in Civil Engineering Law and Contract Procedure (or have reached an equivalent standard) and are assumed to be qualified civil engineers with considerable practical experience in contract management, claims procedures, estimating, costing and rate fixing. The examinations are not restricted to Members of ICE. It is a requirement to have passed this exam if you wish to join the ICE Register of Arbitrators.
