The Energy Board aims to influence energy policy by providing an informed view on security of supply, energy technologies, energy efficiency, environment and competition.

Forward plan
- Respond to all Government consultations relevant to energy.
- Maintain links with energy related agencies, organisations and Government bodies.
- Maintain links with the regions by providing support on energy related issues and giving seminars.
- Provide articles, consultations and reports for publication.
