Current amendments to ICE Conditions of Contract.

ICE is at the forefront of all major developments in construction law and contract management. It aims to facilitate the smooth running of construction projects through promoting current best practice in conditions of contract, setting the standards in the avoidance and resolution of disputes and disseminating guidance on legal issues to its members.

This section represents the work undertaken by ICE and its members in this field by providing information on the latest versions of each contract and dispute resolution procedure, legal guidelines to members by way of legal notes, information on ICE legal examinations and a link to the ICE Dispute Administration Service.

As part of its functions, the law and contracts section manages the committees responsible

  • for drafting and reviewing conditions of contract that meet the needs of industry producing legal notes
  • setting the standards for accredited lists of dispute resolution professionals and ICE legal examinations
  • ensuring the ICE provides a robust, professional and transparent service to the industry in its role as a neutral appointing body.

If you require any further information or have a question on this subject area please email contractsanddisputes@ice.org.uk or phone 020 7665 2243.
