ICE organises hundreds of events a year, everything from conferences, seminars, workshops, presidential events and awards dinners to multi-day congresses. ICE works closely with members, industry experts and associated organisations to present topical, informative events that stimulate debate. Content tends to be technical and is often cutting edge – making it perfectly suited to your CPD.

ICE holds a series of ‘prestige lectures’ throughout the year. Some are 'named lectures', named either after one of the great civil engineers, for example the Vernon Harcourt Lecture, or after the partner company or organisation that sponsors the lecture. Others are papers from ICE Proceedings. Details are released in advance on the website's events section.
Most lectures are free to attend and open to all members and those associated with the profession. They can also be watched live or at a later date on the internet via our Interwise system. The lectures are often followed by a dinner, which offers a great opportunity for networking, corporate hospitality and continuing the debate on the issues raised during the lecture. Topics covered include maritime engineering, construction, health and safety, energy, transport and more.

UK’s largest civil engineering exhibition
Civils is the UK's largest exhibition for the civil engineering community. ICE is a partner for the event, held every November in London. We provide information on ICE services and products for members and non-members. The event, attended by consultants, contractors and clients, is a great place to network and features seminars, a conference and much more.
