ICE QUEST Undergraduate Scholarship 2010

Am i eligible?

  •  You must be starting the first year of your degree in the academic year 2010/11
  • You must have a conditional offer for a civil engineering degree that is accredited by ICE in the UK. To find out if your course is accredited visit www.jbm.org.uk

The scholarship does not cover foundation years.

When do I apply?

  • Application and reference forms for 2010 will be available from 11 January 2010
  • The deadline for applications is 1 July 2010

If your application form and reference are not received by 1 July your application will not be considered.

How do I apply?

All applications and references submitted will receive an automatic confirmation of receipt.

What happens next?

  • Your application and reference form will be assessed by the QUEST Committee
  • You will be contacted before the end of July 2010 to let you know if you have been invited to the ICE QUEST Undergraduate Scholarship 2010 Interview Day where the final selection process will take place

What happens at the interview day?

  • Everyone selected will have an interview with the QUEST Committee
  • You may also have up to five interviews with leading civil engineering and construction companies who are involved in the QUEST scheme. Each company is seeking students to partner with, resulting in work placements and support

The Interview Day will be held in London on 10 September 2010.

What happens after the Interview Day?

You will be informed by the end of October whether you have been awarded a scholarship and whether or not this is in partnership with a company.

Please note that there are a very limited number of scholarships available each year which do not involve partnership with a company and these are awarded at the discretion of the QUEST Committee.
