The Committee was formed in late 2011 and will be formally voted in at the Feburary 2013 AGM.
At the RTSA/ICE Joint Meeting
L-R: Hannah Richards, John Winner (RTSA Eminent Speaker), Bill Singleton, William Kemp (VP Engineering Council), Erryn Busby, Jordan Ward (Fred Green Prize), Liz Green, Stewart Garden and Mel Lutton.
After being quiet for a few years, ICE South Australia branch was re-formed and has gained momentum in the last 12 months, following the establishment of an Adelaide based committee made up of 7 local members. The committee under the stewardship of ICE Representative for South Australia, Bill Singleton, have organised a number of events. The branch also saw the visit of the Deputy President of the Engineering Council to Adelaide in 2011, where he was welcomed by a large number of local members who gave clear feedback on local issues and the role the ICE needs to take to further its representation in South Australia and Australia.
Whilst the Committee consists of 7 members at present, we are always looking for additional members to assist. The positions are for a year, with new candidates able to be put forward at the next AGM in 2013.
