The ICE Student Chapter at the University of Engineering and Technology Peshawar was founded in May 2010.
The ICE Chapter at UET Peshawar is involved in:
- Enhancing and broadening the knowledge and perspective of students by giving them international exposure to civil engineering through ICE's global network
- ICE membership recruitment
- As a platform for all civil engineering students to develop their potential and share knowledge
- Seminars, workshops, conferences and inter-university competitions based on civil engineering themes
This student chapter recently organised an energy efficiency and conservation campaign consisting of a model competition, poster competition and a quiz. Teams from different universities, colleges and schools participated in the event, which was attended by over 100 students.
