European Local Association conference

The European Local Association Conference (ELAC) began as an informal meeting set up by members based in Europe.

It has grown into an event that encompasses virtually every country in the European community.

It is hosted by a different nation every year and combines a unique blend of technical presentations, site visits, institution affairs and cultural events:

  • A day of technical presentations, selected by the host country
  • An opportunity to discuss institution business, including updates from country representatives
  • A programme of technical visits
  • Cultural events, including a conference reception, dinner and sightseeing.
