ICE East Midlands Merit Awards (EMMAs)

Entries are now being received for the ICE East Midlands Merit Awards (EMMAs) 2012.

These awards are the highlight of the civil engineering calendar in the region and is a wonderful opportunity for civil engineers in the region to celebrate all aspects of their achievements, whether related to projects or people.

The winners will be announced at the annual Gala Dinner and Awards Ceremony to be held at the Nottingham Belfry Hotel on Friday 20 April 2012.

Communications Competition

Open to all grades of ICE Member with no more than seven years industry experience. The competition has been very successful in past years. It has offered a large number of young engineers the opportunity to develop their communications skills in role play public consultation scenarios based around mock engineering scheme proposals.

G&S Papers Competition

Encourages both graduate and student members to submit papers on any topic of interest to civil engineers. This is an ideal opportunity to enhance presentation skills and increase confidence in public speaking.
