Welcome to the Northamptonshire branch!
Civil engineering is flourishing in Northamptonshire: the upland flood storage reservoir at Weedon included the (then) largest hydrobrake in the UK when commissioned in 2003, the award-winning Cross Valley Link Road was completed in 2008, a new railways station was opened in Corby in 2009, and a landmark centre (iCON) to develop innovative sustainable constructution technologies is being constructed in Daventry.
The branch supports the local membership as part of the ICE East Midland regional team. One of our key activities is to arrange a local programme of meetings, you can find details of our planned events by visiting the events section of this website.
We work hard to arrange a varied and interesting set of meetings and we are always open to suggestions and ideas. If you have any suggestions or ideas or would like to find out about joining the committee please do not hesitate in contacting us.
