This Committee represents the ICE G&S members in Cambridgeshire, Essex, Norfolk and Suffolk. We are also part of the ICE East of England Regional Executive Board.
The aim of the committee is to encourage young engineers to develop their professional skills and progress their ICE membership. We also aim to create a better awareness of Civil Engineering in the community.
The Committee aspires to:
- Arrange evening talks and lectures of interest to all grades of membership across the region.
- Organise events such as the Writtle seminar, social events, 5-a-side football, educational trips and the Best Student award.
- Promote the profession through personal contacts and liaison with schools.
- Support essay groups within the region.
We always welcome new members to join our Graduates and Students committee. If you are interested in joining, please do not hesitate to contact any member of the committee. We also have an informal Facebook page where we upload photographs from ICE events, advertise upcoming events and have ICE related discussions – please feel free to join the group.
