The ICE East of England Regional Executive Board manages ICE's affairs in the East of England in accordance with its constitution and business plan.
The board is formed from the chairmen of the various branches and special interest groups in the region, regional Members of Council and representatives on national boards and panels. All members of the board are volunteers and are unpaid for their work with the Institution. The Chairman, Honorary Secretary and Honorary Treasurer are elected at the East of England Region Annual General Meeting which usually takes place in October.
The board directs the work of the Regional Support Team (RST) all of who are paid employees of the Institution headed by the Regional Director. The RST is responsible for delivering the business plan, membership development, communications, public and media relations and administration.
The board, through its various branches and groups and supported by the RST, organises an extensive programme of learned society activities and social events for Members of the Institution throughout the East of England. The RST organises events specifically for those preparing to take reviews leading to recognised professional qualifications.
