The ICE G&S Best Student Award celebrates exceptional young civil engineers in the East of England currently working towards an accredited MEng, BEng, BSc, BSc (Hons), HND/HNC or Foundation Degree in civil engineering.
The winner(s) (normally 3 awards are made, one in each of the categories of Masters, Bachelors and others) of the Award will have a talent in engineering, impressive coursework and a strong examination performance.
Nominations for the Award are received from course leaders or an appropriate staff member through completion of a nomination form. Invitations for nominations will be issued in August 2013 and the winner(s) will be informed in September 2013. The Award will be presented at the AGM in October 2013.

ICE East of England Best Student Project Award
Each year University of Cambridge, Department of Engineering selects the top three civil engineering based fourth-year undergraduate MEng project reports and submits these to a panel of ICE judges to select, in their opinion, the best project report.
The prize: Cheque for £250 to be awarded at an ICE Cambridgeshire Branch evening meeting.
