ICE East of England Communications Competition 2014
- Do you have the 'power to persuade'?
- Could you work as a team to convince a public meeting about the merits of a new civil engineering project?
- Could you do this in about 20 minutes then handle (possibly hostile) questions?
Teams of up to 5 people will select one of several scenarios and:
- Prepare a public consultation strategy
- Produce a public information leaflet
- Make a presentation at a ‘mock’ public meeting as required by the brief.
It is challenging, hugely enjoyable and fantastic for your CPD. The East of England Regional Heat will take place on in March 2014 (date and venue tbc).
The winning team will receive £300 with smaller cash prizes for second and third.
