GS Net Representative

The London GSnet representative works to showcase the work carried out by the G&S Committee.

The rep also aims to learn from and share the best practice employed by the other regional G&S Committees. The rep works to make the institution and council aware of the concerns and views of the G&S Committee and members.

GS Net Rep, Victoria Sutherland


Victoria graduated from Durham University in 2010 with a Masters in Civil Engineering and currently works for Mott MacDonald in their Railways Division. She gained experience in fire engineering as part of the graduate rotation programme and presently works in the Permanent Way team. Her most notable role has been her involvement within the alignment team for the proposed High Speed 2 line between the West Midlands and Manchester. She is also an active STEM Ambassador, keen to promote civil engineering to younger generations.
