Knowledge

The Knowledge group is one of the three strands of the ICE London Graduates & Students Committee.

The Knowledge group focuses on knowledge-sharing and member development in both technical and professional aspects. The group’s role is to support the ICE in London to organise various events and lectures throughout the year, ranging from site visits to evening lectures, and from Professional Review training to technical seminars.

We are able to utilise ICE’s headquarters at One Great George Street to support our large membership from universities and colleges in London, developing their knowledge and experience.

Ben Mills, Vice Chair, Knowledge, ICE London


Ben is a civil engineer working for Balfour Beatty, based with the Track Partnership. Prior to his current role as a Business Improvement Engineer, he worked on the Blackfriars station and bridge project as a site and section engineer after graduating from Loughborough University in 2009.  He has been on the ICE London G&S Committee since October 2009.

As Vice Chair for Knowledge Group, Ben is committed to continuing to provide high quality Knowledge Sharing and Development events for London students and graduates.
